CFA Voysey Art Nouveau Birds Trees Pattern Art Tile or Trivet
Add a touch of authentic Arts and Crafts charm to your dining table or wall with this dreamy Voysey birds through the trees art tile or trivet. I love the magical feel of this pattern -- almost like a fairyland dream!
Voysey's The Savaric pattern is at once elegant and playful, magical and mysterious, featuring flocks of birds flying through a woodland by night. The trees arch gracefully against the evening sky.
The Savaric by C.F.A. Voysey, 1897, England, Arts and Crafts Movement. Light blue on a dark blue background -- the blues are just a tiny bit on the teal (greenish) side. Viewed at a distance, the trees form a pleasing fishscale pattern. Original piece: wallpaper, color woodblock, hand printed on paper. Lovingly hand restored and prepared for print by a professional graphic artist experienced in art restoration.
